A private funeral will be held today in Mount Vernon for Hip HOP star Heavy D who died last week f complications of pneumonia . P Diddy, Anthony Hamilton, and The Reverend Al Sharpton will be among the people who pay tribute to the famous rapper. Known for his hits such as "The Overweight Lover's in The  House" and "Now That We Found Love". Heavy D was born in Jamaica but was raised in Mount Vernon just north of New York City. He often mentioned Mount Vernon in his rhymes and had proudly claimed the city as "Money Earnin' Mount Vernon."In this Oct. 1, 2011, photo, rapper Heavy D, also known as Dwight Arrington Myers, performs during the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. A representative confirmed Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 that the singer and former leader of Heavy D & the Boyz died. He was 44.
